INTRODUCING ATTRI'S NEW FILTERING SYSTEM PDF Print

Ma.Tec.'s ATTRI-AS strictly follows the ASTM standard test method D5757-00, with some improvements in the measurement of the air flow rate.
Problems frequently arise in the quantitative determination of the fines collected in the Fines Collection Assembly (250 ml glass flask plus thimble plus 20 cm metal tubing), as their weigh is often too small in comparison to that of the assembly, therefore affected by a large error.
Ma.Tec. has developed a very efficient and light filter, capable of collecting all the fines without any appreciable backpressure in the attrition tube.
This filter is directly connected to the exit tube through a practical plug-in system.
As a result, no collection assembly is required any more.
